savage x fenty at selfridges

Visual Elements partnered with Savage X Fenty to design, engineer, manufacture, and install fixtures for their shop-in-shop at Selfridges, London. The concept focused on simple shapes and curves, using a metallic lavender finish and contrasting stainless steel. Subtle branding, like laser-etched X’s, were seamlessly integrated throughout.

nordstrom

We have collaborated with Nordstrom for over 12 years, working closely with their store planning and architectural teams to develop comprehensive programs for new store openings, remodels, and fixture roll-outs across North America. Our partnership includes providing a full suite of services tailored to Nordstrom’s needs, such as engineering, prototyping, custom finish development, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, and installation. Notably, we played a pivotal role in the opening of Nordstrom’s flagship store in NYC, featuring a custom perimeter post system with integrated power and lighting, along with versatile hangers and shelves that offer easy reconfiguration.

hoka

We engineered, prototyped, and manufactured millwork and fixtures for Hoka's flagship store in Midtown Manhattan. The project involved developing flexible fixtures that could accommodate a wide range of products, while aligning with the brand's active, vibrant image. Full-scale prototypes were created to ensure functional integration of custom finishes and lighting, and to finalize the design details. Our coordinated efforts with the client ensured that the flagship store met the highest standards for both visual impact and functional use.

flora

Inspired by the goddess of flowers, we created a brand and interior design that is distinctive and filled with meaning. Flora’s color palette is a delightful mix of pine, sage, mint, and terracotta, enhanced by splashes of terrazzo, natural woods, and anchored by a stunning floral installation. The space itself is an immersive apothecary, radiating a welcoming, holistic, and dreamy atmosphere. It serves as an inspiring counter-culture, evoking trustworthiness, knowledge, harmony, empowerment, femininity, color, and locality.

This project was developed using The Module System, our proprietary modular fixture display collection. Learn More.

seoul cannabis

“We were also looking to highlight my Korean heritage, bringing elements of Korean hip-hop and culture into the shop which Visual Elements executed flawlessly, incorporating traditional folk art as part of the logo and the illuminated zig-zag wall.

There are many artists who have gone to Korea to pursue a music career and have been punished for smoking cannabis. Any vocal support for them and the plant is silenced because of the harsh laws and societal views on cannabis. I want to use this space not only to show my love for the rich hip hop and street culture in Korea, but also to bring attention to how unforgiving and relentless Korean society is towards cannabis use.” – Seung Lee Owner | Seoul Cannabis

the herbary

With deep apothecary cabinets, scalloped-tile ceilings, marble countertops, and sketches that could as easily adorn a botanist’s notebook as dispensary walls, Canadian chain The Herbary transports modern consumers back in time as soon as they step through the dramatically massive, blue front doors.

“Centuries ago, my great-great-great-grandfather was the apothecary to the Marquess of Queensbury. I remember growing up in Montreal, and my mother would still say, ‘Let’s go to the apothecary.’ This inspired me to settle on the name The Herbary, because herbs in general have been used for cooking, medicinal purposes, and general mellowing." - Richard Fuller, Owner

hermes

Visual Elements partnered with the Nordstrom Store Design team to engineer and manufacture a unique shop-in-shop concept for Hermes at the Nordstrom flagship store in Seattle. The project featured custom fixtures engineered with precise tolerances to enhance the shopper experience in innovative ways. A highlight was the incorporation of vintage Hermes scarf material, creating a central experiential display where customers could interact with a reflective ceiling adorned with silk. Visual Elements managed the entire process from engineering and manufacturing to shipping and installation, achieving a record delivery time that garnered significant PR attention for both Hermes and Nordstrom.
