shop-in-shop built by visual elements

expanded message
Scale can also mean bringing a large product portfolio into focus. For appliance retail, the challenge is not just how much product can fit on the floor. It is how clearly customers can understand categories, compare options, move between core and premium offerings, and connect innovation back to the brand. LG’s large-format shop-in-shop shows how a branded environment can create order, clarity, and flexibility inside a larger retail setting.
what this means for your project

A shop-in-shop should feel like a destination, not a department.

We help brands turn product density into a more organized customer journey, using custom fixtures, clear product zones, integrated lighting, adaptable millwork, and brand-led moments that make the experience easier to navigate. For LG, that meant translating global retail standards into a locally built environment that could support product visibility, education, and future updates.

lg appliances

a brand destination within a destination.

For LG’s 2,000 sq. ft. appliance shop-in-shop at The Brick, VE helped bring the brand’s appliance portfolio together within a cohesive, highly considered retail environment.

Working from LG’s global retail design standards, VE adapted the concept for the Canadian market while maximizing product visibility, category organization, and the number of appliances presented on the floor.

The environment was developed around clear product zones, custom millwork, integrated LED category lighting, freestanding hero displays, LG Studio premium kitchen vignettes, and adaptable display details designed to support future product sizes and updates.

The result: a branded appliance destination that helps customers compare categories, understand innovation, and move between LG’s core and premium offerings.
