The Junior Cabinetmaker will be responsible for assisting in crafting, assembling and repairing wooden cabinets and other store fixtures:
- Read and interpret shop drawings.
- Assist in constructing custom cabinetry with accuracy and working alongside Senior Cabinetmakers and Shop Foreman to ensure products meet design specifications and quality control standards.
- Set up and operate woodworking machinery, including table saws, shapers, molders, planers, jointers, sanders, etc.
- Fit and assemble components to ensure product meets quality and customer standards.
- Attach fittings and other components to assembled cabinetry.
- Prepare product for finishing.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment.
THE SKILLSET:
- Graduate from a recognized Woodworking program.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to lift, carry, push and or pull objects weighing up to 50lbs.
- Sound knowledge of shop drawings and interpretation.
- Proven experience using woodworking machinery and hand tools.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work well as a team member.
- High level of attendance.
- Excellent work ethic.
- Self-directed.
- Day Shift – 7:00a.m. to 3:30p.m.
