Designer

We are looking for an experienced, innovative Industrial Designer to become a part of our Design team to develop retail store fixtures and systems. In this role, you will conduct market research, develop an understanding of our manufacturing processes, and deliver solutions to meet internal design briefs.

As Industrial Designer, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with product design and development.
  • Contributing to concept and prototype design.
  • Developing specifications for design, engineering, and production departments.
  • Conducting product research to maintain an awareness of current design trends.
  • Collaborating with internal Design and Engineering teams to evaluate product prototypes in order to determine production feasibility and production costs.
  • Presenting designs to internal team members and clients for approval.

 

THE SKILLSET:

  • A bachelor’s degree in industrial design or a related field.
  • Experience with CAD software, such as Inventor, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
  • Experience generating photo-realistic renderings.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Graphic design skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent at troubleshooting and translating an idea into a manufacturable design.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
